United Arab Emirates Goes Green

Dubai’s daily English language newspaper – Khaleej Times, recently published an article stating that the Middle East is now home to 12.6% of all 40m-plus superyachts – a total of 216 mega-vessels. With this many of our core customers being based in the region and a growing number of smaller boats in the market, we knew we had to launch locally. Exalto Emirates came highly recommend and we’re stoked to say we have now launched the full range with them.

Exalto Emirates was founded in 1995 in the Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates as a supplier of propellers and stern gear to the local dhow building industry. Under new ownership since 2009 the company has since rapidly expanded its range of products and services offered. It now distributes an extensive array of electrical and mechanical marine parts and equipment from over 87 international marine manufacturers, supplying throughout the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent. As of now that’s 88.

John Paul, General Manager of Exalto Emirates told us, “We are proud to be able to contribute to the wellbeing of our planet’s oceans by distributing the range of Eco Works cleaning products. It is a privilege to be able to say to our customers that we truly have an environmentally friendly cleaning product that can be used all around their boats and yachts”

Having primarily built our reputation for environmentally friendly, yet highly affective cleaning products in the superyacht world over the last fours years this is a great new market for us to be launching in. The official launch was supposed to take place at the Dubai International Boat Show which was recently postponed due to worries over the coronavirus. We still plan to do something at the show during its new dates on the 24th – 28th of November and in the mean time will be building up the presence of Ecoworks in the market.
