We’re Growing – Launching in The Netherlands and Germany!

The end of 2019 was a busy one for Ecoworks with us rushing around tying up lots of things ready for 2020. As a result the next few weeks and months is going to be a busy one with lots of announcements that we can barely hold back from splurging out. However one announcement we are able to reveal now is that thanks to an exciting partnership with Dutch distributor, Belship we are now be available in Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands and Germany.

To celebrate the announcement Belship will be exhibiting our range of products at The Boot Dusseldorf which begins on Saturday the 18th of January. Belship will be in Hall 10, stand A56, at the German show, one of the largest in the industry.

Ecoworks Marine sustainable cleaning products range.

We’ve spent the last few years slowly growing our reputation with partnerships with the 52 Super Series and 2018 Volvo Ocean Race team, Turn The Tide on Plastic. As a result the last year has been a really exciting one with moves into France, the US and South East Asia among others. This year at METS it truly felt like the conversation around sustainability and Ecoworks had changed. The word ‘sustainability’ was on everyone’s lips. As a result Angus, our Head of Brand was invited to sit on the Superyacht Forum panel discussion ‘The Future of Planet Superyacht,’ which received great feedback. In conversations with distributors and shops we found that many already knew about Ecoworks and we’ve started receiving more and more inbound inquiries.

Our partnership with Belship will further grow our presence in Europe, especially in The Netherlands and Northern Germany, two of the key superyacht new build capitals. Established in the early sixties they were originally suppliers of rigging equipment for racing dinghies. Today they are a distributor of mostly technical, high-end products, both to boatbuilders as well as retailers and trade suppliers. The company’s secure footing in the industry means they are often free to choose their own independent course meaning the company is always among the early adopters of new products and technology.

Belship’s Melle Klazinga, their General Manager, had this to say about the addition of Ecoworks to their line up, “The need to treat our environment with care and respect is very clear to us as a company. Many of our employees are experienced yachtsmen and women, and we have seen the beauty and vulnerability of the oceans.

We believe everyone who gets to spend time at sea has a responsibility to care for it, and using environmentally responsible  products such as Ecoworks is one of the ways in which to do it.”

When speaking with Belship about working together it became clear quickly that we had a lot in common in both our love for the ocean and in terms of business focus. We love working with new builds but are also really keen to grow our presence in the small boat market so everyone has access to an Eco option for their boat, that’s safer for them and the environment.

Ecoworks products are now available to order from Belship, click here to visit their website. The our range will be on their stand in Hall 10 stand A56 at the The Boot Dusseldorf, where you will be able to discuss the products with their team.
